In the year 1978 eminent entrepreneur and businessman Mr. M.T. Tawakul envisioned a strong demand for electronics products in the UAE and established an electronics trading company. He is now the Group Chairman.

Since the inception of the company the vision was clear i.e. latest products delivered to customers at a very high level of service. In order to achieve the set objectives an uncompromising commitment was made for the development of a professional team for sourcing and distribution of goods from leading suppliers globally. Even today with a high degree of diversification and geographically expanded operations, the company continues to steer with the same philosophy of customer satisfaction through high quality products and services.

This electronics company underwent transformation in 1997 becoming Adel Electronics Centre exclusively sourcing and delivering the entire range of surveillance and security products.

The company over the years has expanded its operation to neighboring countries with dedicated focus on international operations. Strategic plans are in place to extend its already established international operation, in the near future.

In February 2007, a business tie-up was made with Gorenje, a European company for trading of exclusive and premium range of home appliances.
